While we pride ourselves at Apartment Therapy on the fact that we feature real homes, fabulous real homes at that, we still get swept up in all that styled glory found in our favorite interior design magazines. Even though the styling is rarely practical, it’s usually a great place for ideas and inspiration. That’s why we immediately enjoyed Elle InteriĂśr’s piece on the process of styling a shoot.

If you’ve been to Gitane, you’ve undoubtedly been impressed by their carefully crafted cocktails and those ridiculous bacon bonbons stuffed with goat cheese (and yes, they are even better than they sound). But the real star of the show continues to be the interior. While much of it is a bit over the top to replicate at home, the bathroom remains a space I would gladly put into my home as is.
