If architektura is, as Mies van der Rohe held, “the will of an epoch translated into space,” then it’s no surprise that a rabid proclivity towards parking structures marks the last century. Can anyone direct me to some decent CAD of Mies’s Crown Hall in Chicago?
So far I have searched greatbuildings to no avail, just very low resolution images. I have a book called Plans, Sections and Elevations by Richard Weston which includes the Crown Hall but the drawings are laughable, dont match, no scale information etc…
I am trying to recreate this building in Sketchup and Studio Max which I plan to upload to the models section of this site. Any info is greately appreciated.
Thanks.
